Spring Lacrosse 2019

Welcome to the 2019 Franklin Girls Lacrosse season!

Franklin Girls Youth Lacrosse will be playing in the Founder’s League again this season.  It has been one great league full of  challenging, top tiered lacrosse programs.  This league consists of the following towns; Acton-Boxboro, Bedford, Brookline, Belmont, Canton, Concord-Carlisle, Dedham, Dover-Sherborn, Franklin, Framingham, Harvard, Medfield, Milton, Natick, Needham, Newton, Norwood, Sudbury, Walpole, Waltham, Wayland, Wellesley, Weston, Westford, Westwood. These teams are considered some of the best in the state for girls’ lacrosse at the high school level.

Coaches will begin to contact players in early March to set team expectations.  We typically conduct a player draft to ensure fair, equitable teams across the 5th-8th grade levels.  1st through 4th grade teams will be drafted by schools and player/parent requests.  Once teams are picked, these rosters will be final!

Practices are on Tuesdays and Thursdays and some Fridays through the beginning of June.  The Founder’s Jamboree will be held on June 16 this year at Lincoln Sudbury HS.  It is COACHES responsibility to enter their team.  The Recreation Department does not include the Jamboree as part of the Rec. league, so coaches may end up collecting an additional fee to pay for the jamboree costs.

Once our game schedule has been released, it will be LIVE: Please hold the following dates for games: Sundays,
